Carmelo García Pérez selected to proclaim Guadalajara's Ferias y Fiestas

Carmelo García Pérez, the rector of the University of Alcalá, has been selected to deliver the official proclamation for the Ferias y Fiestas de Guadalajara. The announcement was made by the Mayor of Guadalajara, Ana Guarinos.

Guarinos noted that the choice recognizes García Pérez’s academic career and his long-standing connection to the Guadalajara University Campus. Born in Cogolludo, García Pérez is described by the Mayor as an academic reference who has worked for years toward the growth of the province. His professional background includes a degree and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Alcalá.
