Carmelo Hayes joins WWE faction 946 following surprise return

Carmelo Hayes has returned to WWE television, joining the faction 946 during the October 12 episode of Monday Night Raw in Bossier City, Louisiana. After a nearly two-month absence that fueled speculation regarding his status with the company, Hayes appeared as a masked attacker during a six-man tag team match. He subsequently revealed himself by attacking Solo Sikoa with a crowbar, aligning himself with 946 members Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price.

Reports indicate that Hayes' absence was a strategic creative decision by WWE to build toward this reveal, rather than a sign of potential release. Some reports suggest Royce Keys personally requested Hayes' inclusion in the group. Keys has described Hayes as a “pit bull” with an aggressive side that this new alliance will highlight.

The addition of Hayes strengthens 946 as they continue their violent rivalry with The Bloodline, with a potential WarGames match anticipated for the upcoming Survivor Series.
