Carmelo Valenti leads Rotary Club Capo d’Orlando as Nando Torreggiani heads Lions Club Somma Lombardo

Carmelo Valenti was inaugurated as the new president of the Rotary Club of Capo d’Orlando at the traditional collar‑passing ceremony held on 2 July at the Hotel Il Mulino. He outlined a year‑long programme centred on social inclusion and introduced his board, while local officials, including the mayor, acknowledged the club’s community work.

In Somma Lombardo, Fernando Antonio “Nando” Torreggiani succeeded Paola Bizzozzero as president of the Lions Club Castello Visconti di San Vito. The hand‑over ceremony featured the district governor and a new executive committee, and Torreggiani pledged to continue solidarity projects for vulnerable residents.

Both clubs emphasized ongoing service, collaboration with local institutions, and the expansion of membership to strengthen their charitable impact.
