During an appearance on the program ‘Sería Increíble’ on OLGA, Argentine entertainer Carmen Barbieri made a live phone call to her son, Federico Bal, to jokingly express her grievance regarding a missed trip. Barbieri questioned him about his whereabouts on December 24, to which Bal replied he was in New York with his girlfriend, Evelyn Botto.

Barbieri humorously claimed that Bal had broken a promise to travel to New York with her, stating, “I will never forgive you.” She further joked that Botto had taken both her son and her role as Ursula in ‘The Little Mermaid’ away from her.

Separately, reports indicate that Barbieri is interested in starring in a theatrical biopic of the iconic Argentine cook Doña Petrona. The production is reportedly aimed for April 2027 on Calle Corrientes, pending a producer and funding.
