Carmen Barbieri recovers at home after severe illness

Argentine presenter Carmen Barbieri is recovering at home following a severe health episode involving simultaneous diagnoses of meningitis, bronchospasm, bronchitis, and influenza.

Barbieri reported experiencing high fever peaks of up to 40 degrees Celsius, dizziness, and significant respiratory distress. While medical professionals initially considered hospitalization, they ultimately opted for home care to prevent the risk of contracting additional viruses in a clinical setting, especially given her recent history of a two-month hospital stay.

After a week of intense symptoms, Barbieri stated she is no longer experiencing fever, body aches, or dizziness, though she continues to face respiratory difficulties and mild head discomfort under medical supervision.
