Carmen Barbieri returns to television after health complications

Argentine television host Carmen Barbieri has returned to her program, Con Carmen, on El Nueve after a period of significant illness. Barbieri reported that she simultaneously suffered from COVID-19, laryngitis, and bronchospasm.

During her recovery, the presenter experienced a health setback while attempting to return to work. She described an episode of low blood pressure and lipothymia, a sensation preceding a loss of consciousness, which occurred while she was preparing to leave for the television studio. Barbieri noted that despite receiving medical clearance to leave bed, she experienced dizziness and sweating due to the physical strain of returning to her professional duties too soon.
