Carmen Consoli closes Vulcanica Live Festival at Monticchio Lakes
The 27th edition of the Vulcanica Live Festival concluded at the Monticchio Lakes in the Parco Naturale Europa. The festival's closing event featured a sunset acoustic performance by Sicilian singer-songwriter Carmen Consoli, titled ‘I colori dell’acqua’, designed to interact with the natural landscape of the volcanic lakes.
The two-day event, held on August 6 and 7 at the foot of Monte Vulture, included various musical acts. The first evening featured the folk-rock band Musicamanovella and the Green Ghost, followed by a DJ set. The second evening included a performance by Erica Mou, who presented songs from her latest album, ‘Cerchi’, before the final performance by Consoli.
Vincenzo Paolino, the festival's founder and artistic director, described the edition as a sensory journey that celebrated the connection between the local landscape, water reflections, and sunset light.
