Carmen Electra says marrying Dennis Rodman was a difficult choice

Carmen Electra told U.S. media that her brief marriage to former NBA star Dennis Rodman was "not the best choice" and was made difficult by his inner circle, which suspected she was after his money. She emphasized that she was already financially independent, working with MTV and living in a Beverly Hills condo at the time.

The couple eloped in a Las Vegas chapel in November 1998 and finalized their divorce a year later. Electra discussed the marriage while promoting Fox’s reality competition series "Nation’s Dumbest," where she appears as a contestant.

She described the relationship as challenging to sustain amid Rodman's partying lifestyle and the scrutiny from his entourage.
