Carmen Pérez appointed PP spokesperson and deputy mayor in Santa Cruz

Carmen Pérez has been appointed as the new spokesperson for the People's Party (PP) Municipal Group in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council and as the first deputy mayor. This restructuring follows a decree signed by Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez.

Pérez, who previously served as the fifth councilwoman and advisor to the Development Society, will also represent the City Council as a member of the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, succeeding Carlos Tarife.

The reorganization redistributes other deputy mayor positions within the PP: Carlos Tarife moves to the third position, Zaida González to the fifth, and Alicia Cebrián to the seventh, while Santiago Díaz Mejías loses his status as deputy mayor. Carlos Tarife and Zaida González will serve as deputy spokespersons for the group.
