Carmen Villalobos wins two India Catalina awards

Colombian actress Carmen Villalobos received two India Catalina awards in April 2026 for Best Leading Actress and Favorite Actress. The recognition follows her performance as Sonia, a mysterious character in the Netflix psychological thriller ‘La huésped’, which premiered in September 2025.

Villalobos, originally from Barranquilla, gained widespread fame in 2008 for her role as Catalina Santana in ‘Sin senos no hay paraíso’. She is set to return to that character on November 16 for a new season of ‘Sin senos sí hay paraíso’.

In addition to her acting career, Villalobos has established herself as a television host, recently completing the fifth season of Telemundo’s ‘Top Chef VIP’. Her recent hosting engagements include the Platino Awards in Mexico and an upcoming appearance at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on October 22.
