Carmencita opens new industrial complex in Novelda

Spain’s Minister for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, visited the new Carmencita industrial complex in Fondonet, Novelda, following the successful completion of the company’s relocation. The move, finalized in September, sees all company departments fully operational at the new site.

Accompanied by company chairman Jesús Navarro Navarro, managing director Jesús Navarro Alberola, and the president of the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, Carlos Baño, the minister inspected the facility’s production capacity, innovation projects, and international operations. The complex was designed to enhance Carmencita’s industrial and technological capabilities through a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and R&D.

The new site includes collaborative workspaces and specialized areas for training and knowledge exchange. A notable upcoming feature is the ‘Spice School,’ intended as a hub for chefs and culinary professionals. This visit follows recent inspections of the facilities by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and the regional industry secretary for the Generalitat Valenciana, Felipe Carrasco.
