Carmignano announces rent assistance for local families

The Municipality of Carmignano has released a call for applications for rent assistance contributions for 2026. A total of 42,498 euros has been allocated to support families with rental costs, consisting of 38,000 euros from the municipal budget and 4,498 euros from the Tuscany Region.

Mayor Edoardo Prestanti stated that the administration increased the allocation by 3,000 euros to ensure the right to housing is maintained despite a lack of national refinancing. The program is designed to assist residents with regular rental contracts who meet specific income requirements.

Eligibility is divided into two income brackets based on the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE). Group A is for families with an ISEE of 16,114.80 euros or less, while Group B is for families with an ISEE between 16,114.81 and 32,724.49 euros, provided the ISEE does not exceed 16,500 euros. Applications must be submitted by Monday, September 21.
