Carmine Appice and Cactus release new video for ‘300 Pounds of Joy’

Carmine Appice and the band Cactus have released a new music video for the track ‘300 Pounds of Joy’. The song is featured on their new album, ‘Temple Of Blues II’, which is currently available via Cleopatra Records.

The track and accompanying video include performances by Ty Tabor and Artie Dillon alongside Appice. The song is a cover of the Howlin’ Wolf track, which Appice noted for its ‘killer drum groove’.

‘Temple Of Blues II’ consists of eleven tracks featuring various band combinations, anchored by Appice’s drumming and a range of guitarists and vocalists. The album is described as a celebration of blues and its influence on the development of rock and metal.
