Carmine Di Risio elected president of Lions Club Vasto Adriatica

Carmine Di Risio was elected the new president of the Lions Club Vasto Adriatica Vittoria Colonna during a hand‑over ceremony on 10 July at the La Ciucculella restaurant in Vasto Marina, Italy. Outgoing president Antonio Muratore handed over the "Martelletto" in a traditional ceremony attended by club members and local officials.

The event opened with the introduction of a new member, entrepreneur Hannele “Anita” Piipari, and a welcome speech from Anna Bosco, the municipal assessor for social services, emphasizing cooperation between the club and local government. Di Risio outlined the importance of teamwork and presented the new board for the 2026‑2027 social year, listing vice presidents, secretary, treasurer and committee heads. The new leadership aims to reinforce the club’s community‑service activities throughout the Vasto area.
