Carminho conducts Brazilian tour for world tour

Portuguese singer and composer Carminho is conducting a Brazilian tour as part of her world tour, ‘Eu Vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir’. The tour includes performances in Belo Horizonte at the Grande Teatro do Sesc Palladium, Rio de Janeiro at Vivo Rio, and São Paulo at the Teatro Cultura Artística.

Carminho, the daughter of fadista Teresa Siqueira, has maintained a strong connection to Brazil for 17 years. She expressed that the shared language and cultural exchanges make her feel at home in the country. Her musical style involves blending traditional fado with contemporary and experimental elements, emphasizing emotional depth rather than just sadness.

Her career highlights include the award-winning debut album ‘Fado’ and the best-selling ‘Alma’ in Portugal. She has also received international recognition, including a Golden Globe and a nomination for the ‘Poor Things’ soundtrack at the Oscars.
