Carín León cancels Las Vegas Sphere concert due to aircraft malfunctions

Mexican singer Carín León canceled his September 10 concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas due to mechanical failures with two aircraft intended for his travel from Hermosillo, Sonora. León explained via social media that the first plane experienced brake failure, and a second aircraft encountered steering issues, leading authorities to prevent the flight for safety reasons.

The last-minute cancellation occurred while many fans were already seated in the venue, resulting in some boos and frustration from attendees. León apologized to his followers, emphasizing that safety was the priority. Tickets for the canceled show will remain valid for a rescheduled performance on September 15, 2027. Fans who cannot attend the new date may request a refund at their original point of purchase within 30 days.

Despite the setback, León has already announced a return to the Sphere for a three-night residency on September 16, 17, and 18, 2027, to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. His current residency, ‘De Sonora para el Mundo’, continues with other scheduled dates through September 13.
