Carnia Salus inaugurates new healthcare facility in Tolmezzo

Carnia Salus has officially inaugurated its new healthcare facility in Tolmezzo, located at via Val di Gorto 40. The new site, which houses the Policlinico Triestino, spans over 650 square meters and features 11 specialized outpatient clinics and a surgical clinic.

The facility offers a wide range of services, including cardiology, dermatology, gynecology, neurology, orthopedics, and urology, among others. New additions to the service list include mammography, ozone therapy, and enhanced occupational medicine. Notably, the center performs cataract surgeries through both private arrangements and agreements with the regional health service.

During the inauguration, Regional Health Councilor Riccardo Riccardi emphasized the importance of the facility in strengthening local healthcare. He noted that accredited private structures serve as a complementary component to the public system, helping to meet rapidly changing healthcare needs and ensuring better accessibility for citizens.
