Carnifex announces new album ‘More Than Misery’

Deathcore band Carnifex has announced their tenth studio album, titled ‘More Than Misery’, scheduled for release on November 6 via Sumerian Records. The announcement includes the release of the album's title track and an accompanying music video directed by Midvessel.

Produced by Whitechapel guitarist Zach Householder and mixed by Jeff Dunne, the album features a guest appearance by Entheos vocalist Chaney Crabb on the track ‘The Process Of Pain’. Vocalist Scott Ian Lewis described the lyrical themes as an exploration of how suffering can fundamentally change a person, noting, ‘This is Carnifex at our most honest and unapologetically brutal’.

The album's ten-track listing includes ‘...and I Held Hands With Death’, ‘No Gods Only Graves’, and ‘Heart Made Of Teeth’. Following the release, the band is set to perform on the All Shall Perish ‘The Price Of Existence’ 20th anniversary tour, with additional European and UK dates scheduled.
