Carnival artists to host free workshops in Resistencia

The Chaco Institute of Culture has announced the ‘Primer Grito de Carnaval,’ a series of free workshops held at the Casa de las Culturas in Resistencia on October 24. The event features artists from the Rio de Janeiro Carnival who will lead training sessions in samba and percussion.

Caroline Xavier, a Brazilian dancer and member of the Unidos da Tijuca samba school, will conduct a samba workshop focused on dance and body expression. Additionally, percussionist Renan Cabral, who specializes in samba and pagode, will lead a session on battery and percussion techniques.

Participation in both workshops is free, though spots are limited and require prior registration through the respective instructors.
