Carnival Corporation reports record third-quarter revenue and net income
Carnival Corporation has reported record-breaking third-quarter financial results, characterized by all-time high revenue and net income. The company posted revenue of approximately $8.4 billion and net income of $1.9 billion, with adjusted net income reaching $2.0 billion. These results represent the third consecutive quarter of record performance for the cruise operator.
Despite facing a $131 million negative impact from rising fuel prices and currency fluctuations, Carnival managed to outperform its own guidance. This was attributed to strong cost discipline and operational improvements totaling more than $150 million since June. Demand remains robust, evidenced by customer deposits reaching a record $7.6 billion, a significant increase over the previous year.
Looking ahead, the company reported that booking occupancy and pricing for 2027 are at record levels. CEO Josh Weinstein noted that accelerating demand and cost management are driving results ahead of expectations. Consequently, Carnival has raised its full-year adjusted earnings guidance.
