Carnival Cruise Line funds hospital family accommodation program

Carnival Cruise Line is supporting the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Patient Family Accommodation Program through its Conga for Kids deck parties. Donations raised during these events on cruises departing from Sydney have funded a dedicated one-bedroom apartment at the Scape Lachlan Building in Kensington.

The apartment provides free accommodation for families from regional New South Wales or Sydney’s outer suburbs, helping them stay close to children receiving care at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. The facility includes access to workspaces, laundry, a pool, and a 24/7 concierge to alleviate the burden of long commutes and overnight costs.

Guests can continue to support the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Queensland Children’s Hospital Foundation by purchasing Conga for Kids T-shirts on cruises departing from Sydney and Brisbane.
