Carnival Firenze cruise arrival delayed in Manzanillo due to tropical storm

The scheduled stop of the Carnival Firenze cruise ship in Manzanillo, Colima, has been postponed due to safety concerns regarding Tropical Storm Vance. The vessel, which measures over 323 meters in length and carries thousands of passengers, was originally expected to arrive on Wednesday, October 28.

This cancellation marks the second time recent weather conditions have disrupted arrivals in Manzanillo, following a previous suspension involving the Ruby Princess during Hurricane Trudy.

In a separate development, the Carnival Firenze arrived in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, alongside the Koningsdam. This simultaneous arrival of over 6,000 passengers is expected to generate an economic impact exceeding 10 million pesos for the local commercial and service sectors.
