Carola Häggkvist and Carina Bergfeldt share personal stories on SVT
In the new SVT program ‘Vår älskade låtskatt’, singer Carola Häggkvist discusses her musical career and the origins of her hits. She revealed that many of her early, highly acclaimed songs were covers. Specifically, she noted that she fought to include the song ‘Säg mig var du står’ on her ‘Främling’ album because its sound differed from her other tracks. The song was a Swedish version of the Dutch hit ‘Why tell me why’ by Anita Meyer.
Separately, media personality Carina Bergfeldt has shared her personal journey regarding an ADHD diagnosis. In her program ‘Alla mina bokstäver’, Bergfeldt described the internal struggle of managing a successful career while feeling ‘complete chaos’ internally. She spoke about the difficulty of managing daily tasks and the emotional toll of not understanding her neurological differences, stating she spent five years ‘hating myself’ before receiving a diagnosis that explained her imbalances in dopamine and noradrenaline.
