During a recent episode of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’, cast member Jessel Taank sparked controversy by asking Carole Radziwill if the late fashion icon Carolyn Bessette was a ‘bitch’. Taank, a fashion publicist, defended her comments, stating she was merely curious if Bessette had a ‘cold’ or ‘fashion diva’ demeanor. Taank noted that in the fashion industry, individuals can sometimes be ‘a little bit bitchy and cold’.

Radziwill, who was a close friend of Bessette and married to Anthony Radziwill—a cousin and best friend of John F. Kennedy Jr.—expressed visible discomfort with the line of questioning regarding her deceased family members. Radziwill described Bessette as a ‘girls’ girl’ and noted that she found the Ryan Murphy series exploring Bessette’s life to be ‘too much’ and ‘weird’.
