Through social media, the award-winning entertainer admitted that her initial parenting ideals, which included maintaining total honesty and communicating at eye level with her child, have shifted toward the use of small white lies to manage daily routines.

Kebekus joked that her parenting sometimes involves "lying, blackmailing, and threatening," referring to harmless tactics used to resolve conflicts. Examples include telling her child that a television program is currently sleeping or that a zoo is closed to avoid disputes. She also noted instances where she abandoned strict dietary rules for her child during chaotic mornings to maintain peace.
