Carolina Herrera celebrates 45 years of fashion in New York

The fashion house Carolina Herrera celebrated its 45th anniversary with the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2027 collection during New York Fashion Week. Under the creative direction of Wes Gordon, the collection sought to bridge the brand's historical legacy with contemporary aesthetics.

The show featured vibrant palettes and sophisticated silhouettes, paying homage to the brand's origins and the iconic white shirt. A notable element of the collection was the inclusion of prints inspired by Andy Warhol’s 1979 portrait of the founder, reflecting the historical connection between Herrera and the artist.

At 87 years old, Carolina Herrera attended the event, appearing in a structured white shirt and wide-leg black trousers. The milestone marks four and a half decades since the brand's 1981 debut in New York, a launch originally supported by editor Diana Vreeland.
