Carolina Herrera launches La Bomba perfume as fruity scents surge in popularity
Carolina Herrera has introduced a new eau de parfum called La Bomba. The fragrance blends exotic pitaya, cherry peony, frangipani and a warm vanilla base, and is presented in a butterfly‑shaped bottle with pink and red glass. The launch campaign features Italian supermodel Vittoria Cere.
At the same time, the fragrance market is seeing a strong shift toward fruity perfumes. Nordstrom beauty director Autumne West identified fruity notes as a major 2024 trend, noting releases such as YSL Libre with raspberry, Parfums de Marly Athénaïs, Tom Ford Figue Erotique and others. Industry experts highlight a broader range of fruit‑based scents, from tart and woody to fresh and green, across luxury brands.
