Carolina Mejía strengthens PRM political structure in Ocoa and Peravia

Carolina Mejía, a presidential aspirant for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), has conducted a series of political strengthening activities in the provinces of San José de Ocoa and Peravia in the Dominican Republic.

In San José de Ocoa, Mejía led the swearing-in of hundreds of activists and territorial representatives. The event saw support from various sectors, including business leaders such as Raúl Gerónimo Rossi and Ambiorix Rossi, as well as municipal directors. Notably, Cruz Santana, a former member of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), joined to support Mejía’s project.

In Peravia, Mejía met with business, religious, and community leaders to formalize her political structure. During her address in Baní, she emphasized a vision of state continuity, pledging to complete major regional infrastructure projects, including the La Jina dam and the expansion of the Baní bypass, should she be elected in 2028. Mejía stated that those actively working for her candidacy would have a place in her future government.
