Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero emerges as head coaching candidate

The Carolina Panthers' defensive performance has brought increased attention to defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero. Despite facing talent limitations and personnel challenges throughout the season, the team has maintained a 2-2 record, leading analysts to suggest Evero is ascending as a head coaching candidate. Evero has previously interviewed for coaching positions with the Falcons, Steelers, and Raiders.

In preparation for an upcoming matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio commented on the challenges posed by the Panthers' offense.
