Carolina Panthers face NFL fines following victory over Eagles

The NFL has issued disciplinary fines totaling $30,694 to four Carolina Panthers players following their 25-14 road victory against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 18. The penalties were detailed in the league’s official game-day accountability report.

Three of the four players—Tommy Tremble ($11,941), Will Lee ($6,377), and Zakee Wheatley ($5,626)—were fined for taunting. Feleipe Franks received a $6,750 fine for an illegal blindside block. The taunting penalties accounted for 75% of the league’s total taunting fines issued during Week 6.

Separately, Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio criticized a play during the fourth quarter, describing a potential false start by Panthers quarterback Bryce Young as “egregious.” Despite the controversy, the Panthers maintained control of the game, outgaining the Eagles 399 to 222 yards.
