Carolina Panthers offensive success grows amid injury recovery

The Carolina Panthers enter their bye week with a 2-2 record, bolstered by an efficient offense and the potential return of key players. Despite early-season injuries to several starters, offensive coordinator Brad Idzik has overseen a highly productive unit. Following head coach Dave Canales' decision to relinquish play-calling duties, the Panthers currently rank as the NFL's best passing offense through four weeks and hold the fourth-highest ranking in both total yards and yards per game.

Key offensive contributors include quarterback Bryce Young and running back Chuba Hubbard, who is averaging 5 yards per carry. The team is also awaiting the return of several linemen to bolster a unit that currently ranks near the bottom of the league in pass and run block win rates. Right tackle Taylor Moton and running back Trevor Etienne are moving toward returning from injury lists, while Tershawn Wharton is also close to making his season debut. Moton, who has been sidelined since training camp due to a blood clot, remains a central figure for the team's offensive line stability.
