Caroline Roux premieres documentary series on French social fractures

Journalist Caroline Roux will premiere a new documentary series titled ‘Après la colère’ (After the Anger) on France 2. The series aims to analyze the social fractures within French society by examining recent major news events through sociological investigation and direct testimony.

The first episode focuses on the tragedy in Crépol, in the Drôme department, where 16-year-old Thomas Perotto was fatally stabbed during a winter ball in November 2023. The documentary will feature perspectives from local residents, elected officials, security personnel, and victims' associations to explore the origins and consequences of the event, which became a significant point of political and media debate.

In addition to the series launch, recent coverage highlights Roux’s professional trajectory and her personal life, noting her long-standing role on ‘C dans l’air’ and her partnership with Laurent Solly, a former high-ranking official who stepped away from politics to support her career.
