Carúpano launches road recovery plan with 2,000 tons of asphalt

An infrastructure project in Carúpano has commenced, involving the application of more than 2,000 tons of asphalt. The plan focuses on the La Viña sector and the strategic Troncal 9 route, which serves as a vital artery for commerce and public transport in the Sucre state region.

Governor Jhoanna Carrillo noted that the project is a coordinated effort between three levels of government. Beyond paving, Mayor Julio Rodríguez stated that the intervention includes complementary works such as road marking, public lighting, and the installation of traffic lights to improve road safety and connectivity.
