Carpathian Drone Summit scheduled in Podkarpacie, Poland

The Carpathian Drone Summit will be held on 30 September at the ZEN.COM Expo on the Jasionka airport in Podkarpacie, Poland. The event is part of the region's "Drone Valley" initiative, which groups around 170 aviation‑related institutions and companies generating roughly $3 billion in annual revenue. A key project linked to the summit is the Polish Centre for Certification and Development of Unmanned Systems, a 135‑million‑zloty facility slated for completion in 2029 in Tuszów Narodowy. The summit will bring together industry leaders, researchers, business representatives and public officials to foster cooperation and launch new drone‑technology projects.

The initiative is supported by the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency, the Podkarpackie Innovation Centre, the Rzeszów University of Technology and the University of Rzeszów, and has been highlighted by the European Commission as a model of modern technology development.
