Carpi allocates funds for high school psychological services
The Municipality of Carpi has confirmed a 15,000 euro contribution to support psychological counseling services and student wellbeing in local high schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. Utilizing resources from the AUSL of Modena, the funding will benefit several institutions, including Liceo Fanti, Iti Da Vinci, Iis Meucci, Vallauri professional institute, and the Nazareno vocational training center.
The funds are designated for psychological listening services and projects aimed at improving school wellbeing. Specific goals include reducing student distress, combating bullying and gender discrimination, managing stress, and addressing anger management.
To qualify for the funding, counseling services must provide a minimum of 35 hours per year and be conducted by licensed psychologists. The distribution of funds will be determined by student enrollment numbers, the number of first-year classes, and school dropout rates during the first trimester. Applications for the contribution must be submitted by January 15, 2027.
