Carpi Film Fest 2026 returns to Italy with 34 events

The Carpi Film Fest returns to the historic center of Carpi, Italy, from September 4 to 12, 2026. Organized by the Quelli del ’29 cultural association in collaboration with the Municipality of Carpi, the event features 34 scheduled appointments exploring the theme "Narrazioni e Arti" (Narratives and Arts), which examines the intersections between cinema and disciplines such as theater, literature, psychology, visual arts, and music.

Notable participants include director Matteo Garrone, who will receive the "Premio Arti del Cinema" on September 10 and present his film *Reality*. Other featured guests include voice actor Luca Ward, who will discuss the secrets of dubbing, and actor Antonio Catania. The festival's closing event on September 12 will feature guitarist Maurizio Solieri performing a concert of famous film soundtracks.

A new addition to the program is "Cinema Sferico," an immersive 360-degree experience hosted at the Auditorium San Rocco designed for children aged 5 to 10. Most festival events are free to the public, with the exception of two special scheduled appointments.
