Carpi municipality demands Seta improve school transport services

The Municipality of Carpi is demanding urgent interventions from Seta to address critical failures in school transportation services. Mobility Councilor Serena Pedrazzoli reported that students and parents have faced repeated issues, including late arrivals, overcrowded vehicles, and instances where students were left stranded.

These disruptions affect hundreds of students traveling to Carpi from neighboring municipalities and outside the province, particularly those commuting from the province of Reggio Emilia. The administration is calling for a service schedule that better aligns with actual student needs during peak school entry and exit hours.

These difficulties are part of a broader issue affecting several municipalities within the province of Modena, specifically regarding extra-urban lines. A provincial meeting has been convened to address these systemic problems, where the specific reports from Carpi will be presented.
