Carpi to host third Grazie Arianna Memorial for organ donation awareness

The third 'Grazie Arianna' Memorial will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, in Carpi, Italy. The event is organized to honor the memory of Arianna Giaroli, a 13-year-old who passed away following an accident at a riding center in March 2024. Her parents authorized organ donation, which helped save or improve seven lives.

In collaboration with AIDO (Italian Association for Organ Donation), the memorial aims to promote the culture of donation through sport, music, and art. The program includes a friendly volleyball match featuring athletes from the Italian National Team of Transplant Recipients and Dialysis patients, alongside cheerleading performances and musical acts.

The event will also feature the establishment of the 'Premio Arianna' (Arianna Prize), intended to recognize and transmit values of generosity, altruism, and sensitivity toward others. The afternoon will conclude with reflections on humanity and solidarity led by art therapist Dr. Sabrina Cecchinelli and other contributors.
