CarrefourSA shares transferred to Aydın Grup's Yeni Mağazacılık
CarrefourSA’s shareholders representing 89.28 % of the company’s capital were transferred to Aydın Grup’s subsidiary Yeni Mağazacılık. All required legal approvals, including clearance from the Competition Authority, were obtained and the transaction was completed on 31 July 2026.
The new ownership will keep CarrefourSA and A101 as separate brands with independent management structures, while both remain under the Aydın Grup umbrella. Hatice Evren has been appointed CEO of CarrefourSA. Board member Erhan Bostan said the deal strengthens the retailer’s financial base and will enable more aggressive expansion.
CarrefourSA operates 1,237 stores across 77 Turkish provinces, employing roughly 9,600 people. The group targets 300 million customers by 2025 through its physical and digital channels and plans to open new stores to broaden its nationwide reach.
