Carris Metropolitana reorganizes Setúbal transport network

Carris Metropolitana is implementing operational changes to the transport network in Area 4 of Setúbal, effective September 14. The reorganization aims to optimize connections between Poço Mouro and Setúbal through route adjustments, schedule reinforcements, and the elimination of several lines.

Specific changes include the discontinuation of lines 4416 and 4418, with their schedules being transferred to line 4417 to increase service frequency near the Escola Profissional das Manteigadas and Escola Secundária Dom Manuel Martins. Additionally, line 4425 will be replaced by line 4426, which will include new service times for Bairro Quinta Santo António and Bairro do Viso. Line 4440 will cease operations, with its services redistributed to lines 4481 and 4482, while line 4453 will be integrated into line 4452.

Route adjustments also include changes to stops in Setúbal, where certain services will move from Rua Professor Doutor José Maria Nunes Silva to Avenida Bela Vista.
