Carrol Clark sentenced to 35 years and castration for juvenile rape

Carrol Clark, a 51-year-old man from Morgan City, Louisiana, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison following a guilty plea to multiple charges, including second-degree rape of a juvenile.

As part of his plea agreement, Clark is required to undergo surgical castration, which will be administered by the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections. He must also register as a sex offender for life.

The investigation, conducted by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, was prompted by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Authorities determined that Clark had been uploading and downloading such material and had sexually abused a minor girl on multiple occasions at his residence, where he also produced explicit photographs and videos of the child.
