Carrots the blind cat saves kitten through blood transfusion

In Bradford, United Kingdom, an 11-week-old kitten named Dandelion was rescued after being found in critical condition due to severe anemia. The kitten was unable to react and required an immediate blood transfusion to survive.

Carrots, a blind cat residing at the same shelter and used for pet therapy, was selected as the donor. The transfusion proved successful, providing Dandelion with the necessary time to recover. The rescue was coordinated by the Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary and the Northcote Veterinary Surgery.
