Carson City Planning Commission reviews downtown parking garage project

The Carson City Planning Commission is set to discuss a major downtown parking garage and City Hall development project. The agenda includes requests for design standard exceptions and the use of the garage to meet parking requirements for surrounding parcels, including a proposed hotel, conference center, and office building.

Developer Tom Metcalf has also requested the abandonment of several city-owned streets to facilitate the project.
