Carson Kvapil secures consecutive pole at Gateway

Carson Kvapil secured his second consecutive NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series pole position at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois. During the single-car qualifying session for the Nu Way 225, the 23-year-old posted a lap of 133.825 mph in 33.626 seconds.

Kvapil, who currently sits third in the 2026 Chase standings, will start on the front row alongside Jesse Love, the reigning series champion. Sheldon Creed, the winner of the previous week's race at Darlington Raceway, will start third, followed by Corey Day in fourth.

Other notable starters in the top ten include Chase leader Justin Allgaier in fifth, Austin Hill in sixth, Harrison Burton in seventh, William Sawalich in eighth, Rajah Caruth in ninth, and Brent Crews in tenth.
