Carson Macedo wins Jason Johnson Classic at Texarkana 67 Speedway

Carson Macedo secured a victory in the Jason Johnson Classic at Texarkana 67 Speedway during the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series debut at the Arkansas track. Racing for Jason Johnson Racing, Macedo won the 41-lap main event after a series of lead changes and cautions.

The race featured intense competition, with Logan Schuchart and David Gravel also contending for the lead. Macedo utilized a slide job to take control in the closing laps, ultimately holding off Gravel to claim the win. The event served as a tribute to the late Jason Johnson, the founder of the racing team.

The weekend at Texarkana 67 Speedway includes the 39th running of the Short Track Nationals, which follows the Friday night classic.
