Carsten Maschmeyer denies relationship rumors following Beverly Hills sighting

German entrepreneur and investor Carsten Maschmeyer has addressed recent media speculation regarding a potential new relationship. Following photographs of Maschmeyer holding hands with model Anouchka Lou on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, rumors circulated that he had moved on from his marriage to actress Veronica Ferres, which ended in August.

Maschmeyer clarified to the press that he is still single, stating, “I am still single and certainly would not have paraded a new girlfriend on one of the most photographed streets in the world.” He explained that the appearance of intimacy was limited to him taking her hand to assist her while crossing the street.

Sources indicate that Lou, a 30-year-old model based in Cannes, may already be in a relationship with another man. Maschmeyer and Ferres, who were married for twelve years, previously released a joint statement describing their transition from a romantic couple to a deep, trusting friendship due to their demanding professional lives.
