Cartagena political parties begin defining strategies for 2027 elections

Political parties in Cartagena are beginning to define their strategies ahead of the municipal elections scheduled for May 2027. The People's Party (PP), led by Noelia Arroyo, is focusing its campaign on management and visible results from ongoing projects and investments to move past previous political friction with Vox.

While the relationship between the PP and Vox has cooled following a failed motion of censure, both parties may need to cooperate again if the PP fails to secure an absolute majority.
