Cartagena PP defends investment in Cine Central

The Partido Popular (PP) in Cartagena has responded to criticisms from Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) regarding the future of the Cine Central. The PP defended the project, stating that the recovery and conservation of the historic building will receive funding from the Autonomous Community.

The PP asserted they will invest “whatever is necessary” to ensure the building's preservation and claimed that the municipal government's actions will provide greater protection and more funds for the site. The party linked the recent criticisms from MC to the failure of a recent motion of censure against the municipal government.
