Madrid completes third phase of Las Cruces park renovation
The Madrid City Council has finished the third phase of the Las Cruces park overhaul, investing €1.8 million to add 339 new trees and a Japanese‑style grove. The completion brings the total spending on the park’s multi‑year upgrade, which began in 2023, to €4 million.
The revitalised park now offers expanded leisure, sports and community areas, improving accessibility, sustainability and the quality of urban green space for residents of the Carabanchel and Latina districts.
