Cartagena to feature Irish culture at La Mar de Músicas 2027

The city of Cartagena has begun preparations to feature Irish culture as a central theme for the 2027 edition of the La Mar de Músicas festival. Cartagena Mayor Noelia Arroyo met in Madrid with the Irish Ambassador to Spain, Brian Glynn, and the festival director, Eugenio González, to establish a framework for collaboration between the festival and Irish cultural institutions.

The initiative aims to showcase Ireland through five distinct disciplines: music, film, visual arts, literature, and gastronomy. The goal is to present Ireland as a modern and creative nation through its diverse artistic expressions and traditions.
